Honey Stills

Some stills from my first animated short, Honey. I'll try to put some video up before too long; in the meantime these will hopefully satisfy. I won't venture into the cliched territory of how strange it is to look back on old work, but maybe just say that looking at these images is like slipping on an old t-shirt, threadbare and perfect in its comfortable decay.

Birth of A Prius

You wouldn't believe how quickly this piece of animation was produced if I told you, so let's just say it was a serious rush job. Mark Packard is responsible for the fantastic audio; I'm always amazed at his aural prowess and sense of humor - I don't know anyone else quite so eager to take an impossible deadline and turn it into a chance to shine. I did the animation by myself on this one, holed up in Shanta's house while he burned in the desert, Ari administering grotesque doses of Red Bull and smokes. I think it was worth the pain, though.
